The British musician Phil Collins (“In The Air Tonight”) has no desire to publish new music. “I felt no urge to do anything,” said Collins in the dpa interview.
“Although I write down good ideas for lyrics or melodies and keep it,” said the 67-year-old. “But honestly, I hardly did anything. I was too lazy.”
Although his right foot is paralyzed after an operation and he walks on the stick, health is “all cool,” Collins assured. “Life is good.”
On September 28, his 4-CD box “Plays Well With Others” will be released with old songs by various artists he has worked on as a producer and drummer. Collins’ last album with new songs is 16 years back.
