Concert players have panicked at a performance by American rapper Lil Wayne (36 / “Lollipop”) after a visitor has sounded the alarm because of gunfire sounds.
At least a dozen people had been slightly injured in the event A3C Sunday night in Atlanta, the CNN reported on Monday, citing the police.
Lil Wayne wrote on Twitter that he hopes everyone will be safe. The rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., had broken off his set on stage when visitors left the venue in a huff. The organizers spoke on Monday of a “dispute”, which will be examined. The police have confirmed to them that no weapons were involved.
According to police, visitors ran away after the false alarm and also tried to climb over fences. This would have suffered some cuts and other injuries.
